I thought my value and worth was based on how well I could perform. No matter how hard I tried, it was never enough.
At face value, I had it made. I spent over a decade in Naval Special Operations, leading and serving others while putting everything on the line. From the outside in it looked like success. Yet on the inside, my life never felt fulfilled. There was something missing - it was me.
I took a leap of faith, striving to find the next remedy to satiate my desire for success in life.
I had to look inward and upward to find the answers I was always looking for. Through finding the truth and accepting who I really am, i found so much more than just purpose or accomplishment. I found I could finally live a life truly worth pursuing, and could lead others to do the same.
